I create your design and bring your idea to life, by hand. Any changes can still be made in the sketching phase.
5. Ready in ~4 weeks
Your one-of-a-kind piece is finished and shipped to your door.

Declare withdrawal

Statutory Exclusion (Section 312g (2) No. 1 BGB): The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and the production of which is governed by an individual choice or determination by the consumer, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

Frequently asked questions

Send me your idea through the request form: what you want painted, your style, and your budget. I’ll reply within 48 hours with a design idea and a fixed price. Once you confirm and pay the full price, I start with a digital sketch, which you're free to change until you're happy with the result. After all is set, I start painting and keep you updated with progress pics along the way.

Most custom pieces start at €150 for simple designs. Detailed designs are €200–300, and portraits are €300–400. You’ll find all prices on my Prices page. You always get a fixed quote before anything starts, with no surprises. The bigger the project, the more it will cost.

You can either send me your own pair (new or clean) or I can buy them for you, in which case the shoe price is added to the quote. The painting price doesn’t include the shoes themselves.

Most commissions are finished within 2–4 weeks after your design is confirmed, depending on complexity and my current queue. Need it for a birthday or a special date? Mention it in your request and I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s possible.

Yes, they’re made to be worn. I use professional leather paint and finish every piece with a protective sealer. To keep them looking fresh, avoid heavy rain and the washing machine, and clean them gently with a damp cloth.

Every commission is made just for you, so custom pieces can’t be returned (§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB). That’s why you see and approve the design before I start. For ready-made items from the shop (prints, stickers, keychains), the regular 14-daY return policy applies. Details: Refund policy.

Yes! I do live painting for brand activations, events and launches, like Gamescom/adidas or host workshops. Send me a message through my e-mail (customsbymy@gmx.de) with the date, location and your idea.
